New From Pittsburgh, PA
Hi everyone!
Well my names Bobby, I live in Pittsburgh, and I own an 86' Trans Am. This car has been a winter project swapping out the original 2.8 V6 & 5 Spd (Car was originally a Firebird S/E but I transformed it into a Trans Am) for a 400 SBC & TH400. I currently DD my 85' Silverado w/ a 7 in lift and 35" tires while my car is parked, so you could say Im ready for the gas mileage Ill be getting with the car lol.
Ive just dropped the engine/tranny in last week, so itll be a few more weeks until its roadworthy again but its getting there. This is my first car/first project so everythings a learning process. Im a senior in high school, but everything is bought and paid for by me. My parents support me, and my dad has been essential in this build, but I pay for all parts myself. I hope to have it running high 11s this season, which should be doable.
I have plans of buying an LS1 hopefully sometime this summer once my car is finished and all the tweaks are worked out. Ill be living at home still with a well paying job, and I think itd be a great way to establish my credit while owning a reliable car I can make my DD.
If you have any questions you can ask me here, or PM me. You can cheack out the links in my Sig to check out my Build and Cars.
