New to LSx scene. LSX'ing a Zx2 though. Hey guys (and girls) I'm new to the LSx scene and I've been reading alot about it in the last week or so and I'm thinking of swapping in a LSx into my Zx2. im looking at LS2's. Right now im trying to find a wrecked GTO or preferably a C6 and will weld up a subframe with all the donor car goodies and just lay the Zx2 body on top (obviously with alot of time, work, and most likely money). This project will be alot like the Civette. Only difference will be that i will do the steps differently. I will weld the subframe and get everything in place on the donor car, making it look almost like a sandrail for visual reference. I'll make sure it start and runs and is good to go b4 laying the Zx2 body on it. Its gonna be pretty much (depending on if i can find a wrecked C6 or not) a C6 with a Zx2 body. what a sleeper =] hehe
When i start on this i'll make sure i create a worklog and keep everyone updated but first i need the first piece of the puzzle. The donor car. I'll be looking for a wrecked LS1 or LS2 corvette or possibly GTO.
