Talking New guy with a 93 cobra

I'm here to convert over to the darkside by putting in an lq4 or lq9 if i can fget one cheap enough Tierd of wasting money and not going faster.

i dont know dude. isnt that cobra worth some money. o yea welcome to the site hell i thought the 5.0s was a good motor to work on. I think you can find some LQ9s for cheap at the junk yard. i seen some for 900 and none above 2000

For what those cars sell for, you would be better off selling it and putting an LS1 in to a regular GT.

No point destroying a '93 Cobra when you can get top dollar for it.

^^What he said^^. I'm sure you can find more ways to squeeze some horsepower out of that 5.0. I've always been a fan of fox bodies. I also like the already mentioned idea of selling and building another fox body (possibly a 4 cylinder model) from scratch with a GM powerplant.

Not to rain on your parade..but what they all said. ^^^

You could get some decent change for that Cobra and then put that into making a crappy Fox-body (4 cyl) into what it should be, a mean street machine with some GM muscle! Either way, good luck and welcome!

Welcome to the board, nice to have you on here. I wouldn'tn change anything on your 93 Cobra (I like the 93 Cobra's myself the looks especially but the 03/04 superchared Cobra's are faster but looks of those HANDS DOWN) just buy you a car with a LS1 F body or Vette that has a LS motor already in it and have 2 toy's.
