Well the list grows. Originally thought headgaskets, but turned into a shortblock, heads resurfaced and a clutch. Still needs tires and a tune. But he picked up an LT4 hot cam and some roller rockers to kinda get all that out of the way.

That sucks. If he wants to go big power, the LT4 Hotcam won't get him there. If he bought it from someone for cheap its not bad but check out ls1lt1.com and there are plenty that have gone down that road and depending on what he wants will tell him how to go about it.Most will say ditch the Hotcam

We got the car for cheap, and the short block and hotcam for dirt cheap. All from friends. mY brother is only 21 and really just wants nice car that semi quick. If we didnt get such a good deal on the motor and cam package we would have skipped the cam. But we have the original block if he wants to go crazy but more than likely not with this car.

Well its alive and sounds great. Found out the electric water pump was bad and now we are scrambling to find the coupler for the stock style water pump. And put a new clutch in and it needed much bleeding but it seems to be working good.
