New LS1 owner. Whats going on everybody? I became the recent owner of a "brand new" LS1 and 4L60E. The project is a 1990 Jeep Wrangle S. The little bitty 2.5L, throttle body injected motor and AX-5 crappy tranny saw its final days and died a valiant death on the trail. Which gave me the perfect opportunity for a motor swap. After a bunch of searching I finally found a "slightly" used motor and tranny. I just ordered the motor mounts, radiator, E-Fan, and transfer case adapter kit. So now all I have to do is get the parts in. Gut the busted hottness. Weld up the motor mounts and she'll be ready to run...I hope. I'm not completely new to the GM community I have a GMC Sierra but it's only got the 5.3L Vortech. I look forward to getting some good info from everyone. Cheers.

sounds badass man. I have a freind that wanted to do the LS1 swap in his wrangler also, but then went the cheaper route, and put a 5.0 mustang motor in it. It is still awesome either way. Make sure to post pics as you go
