Default Traded my lt1 for an ls1

Yesterday I traded my '96 bolt on t/a for a 2000 trans am. Here are the mods. I hope to pickup lots of new ls1 info.

-slp longtube headers with slp off road y pipe
-Hooker aero chamber catback
-Electric cutout
-Suncoast raptor style functional ram air hood
-Trans Am K&N FIPK Cold Air intake
-the air and egr system has been removed
-The block I used for this build was from a 02 vette with 41k miles
-7.400 trickflow hardened pushrods
-ls6 243 heads P&P with a 5 point valve job specs below
- NEW surface mill to 62cc (15 Ra)
- NEW valve seals
- Valve job inspected and touched off, exhaust valves back cut to enhance flow
- NEW Patriot 'gold' springs set up @ 1.750" (135# seat/ 365# Open)
- Good to .650" lift
- Chambers opened up to 4" bore for use on either LS2/LQ4/LQ9 or LS1
-These are the duel titanium patriot gold .650 valvesprings with titanium seats, retainers, locks, and new valve stem seals

-Ported LS6 Intake
-Smooth bellows
-Forged Mahle pistons
-Hellfire Rings
-Ported LS6 oil pump
-Comp cam Lifters
-Walboro 255 fuel pump
- ford 42lb green top injectors
-ls2 timing chain
-comp cams custom ground 234,236 110+4 lsa camshaft
-ls7 clutch disc,pressure plate, and ls2 flywheel,new pilot bearinig,
-slave and master cylinder were purchased new from dealer so you will not get the stuck pedal like most of these 6 speed cars with the drill mod done to it
-Spohn red strut tower brace
-SLP Line lock
-new water pump
-new power steering pump and pulley
-new exide extreme duty battery
-belt tensioner
-idler pulley
-rear traktek tubular lower control arms and panhard bar powdercoated red
-eaton.aubern gear posi unit with motive 4:10 gears with moser 28" splines in the rear end
-polyurethane trans mount
-c5 z06 18 inch corvette rims with the powder coated centers and chrome rivets and lip fronts are 9.5 inches and rears are 10.5 inches
-tires front--sumitomo htrz II's 265 35 zr18 and the rears are firestone firehawk wide ovals wich are 295 35 zr 18
-spark plug wires and ngk tr55 spark plugs all hand gaped
-pro 5.0 shifter with umi short stick and black ball
-brake pads are new with powerslot front rotors that are slotted and cryogenically frozen option
-all four headlights are new
-driver and passenger window motors where replaced recently
-stewert warner shift light
-2 new 02 sensors with hooker 02 extensions
-5 percent front and rear tints
-front lowered 1.75 inches, rear 1.5 inches with a eibach lowering springs
-aluminum drive-shaft

How did you find a car that was already modded? Good Deal.


I can't complain. Mine was lady driven and completly stock.

That sounds fun.

update: had it tuned the other day. put down 467hp and 402tq. i'm very pleased with it
