Default Hi! New 98' Z28 m6 owner from chicago

Hi guys, I just picked up a low mileage '98 Z28 m6 with 88,000 miles for an incredible $5,500. It is red w/ the egr mod and throttle body bypass done, new exhaust and this thing is beautiful. Now I've heard a few bad things about the '98 ls1's. Is there anything that I can do to help the issue any? I've already began researching the ls6 intake, but what about heads from a later year? Don't they have better valve covers and springs? Thanks for any help in advance. -Rich

What bad things have you heard about the 98s compared to all the other years the LS1 was made? I knew about the intake and the valve covers but thats a pretty easy and quick fix.
