Welcome from Belleville. I used to live in Canton. Hey the Mustangs are nice, but a pushrod LS engine just has something about it !!! You could drop in a LS engine into the Mustang, it would be cheaper than a Vette. LOL Have you checked out Les Stanford Chevy yet, they have many Vette's.

I see you said you really WANT a Vette but you cant afford one. WRONG! You can afford a Vette! Your max of 12500 -13k for a trans am is clearly in Vette range give or take a few extra hundered dollars! They are getting real cheap these days with this bad economy! There are many floating around for a good price. Just depends on how patient you can be. Check these links out i posted for a couple of examples...

90k miles only wants 12500 OBO AND LOCATED IN MICHIGAN!!! If you want a Vette this is excellent, right in your price range, under 100k and its local!

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-c...-12-500-a.html

45k miles! wants only 13,000 OBO!

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-c...miles-13k.html

74,000 miles! wants only 13,200

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-c...-13-900-a.html

12,000 OBO! I know you said less than 100k miles but this isnt a bad price! These motors will last forever so dont think that more than 100k miles are alot on a ls1! There are many ppl buying Vettes with 160k plus! Just depends how well they are maintained

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-c...12-000obo.html

This one had a couple of problems but still not a bad price for a frc Vette

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-c...-13-100-a.html

Here's the main link with Vettes for sale if you want to keep an eye out on it

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-c...s-for-sale-52/

Hit me back for anything else or if you have any questions. Goodluck

O yea sure no problem! Anytime! Yea the Vettes are alot cheaper than ppl think. I like the trans Am also. those are nice cars. Ever wanna go for a ride in the Vette let me know. Which ever car you decide to get, are you only interested in manuals, autos or it doesn't matter?

Funny story.. I never in my life drove a manual before i got my Vette. I was messing up big time lol but eventually caught on and learn and taught myself within a few days! Still didnt completely get the whole concept and ill say i was pretty efficient at it in like 2 weeks. I'm sure it wouldve been much quicker if i had pointers or someone actually teaching me but i did and learned EVERY single thing myself lol.
