sure we can rum em

Vette has a tsp torquer v3 cam, longtube headers, UDP, magnaflow exhaust, Cutouts, ls6 intake, msd wires ngk plugs, mgw short throw shifter

Went to Milan Michigan only once with this car and ran a best of 11.92 with street tires and launching from idle. Cutouts were'nt open on that day and had bad 02 sensors although i know they dont really matter while going WOT.

Next im going to add heads 3.90 gears and monster stage 3 clutch then dynotune.

Do you still have the ls1 intake on? If so that is REALLY holding you back.. Have you been to the track?

Man those vettes can get good ETs! I have never been to the track but I go to Woodward every chance I can get. I hope to be a mid 12 sec. Traction/weight is the GTOs killer and the vettes strong suit.

I just bought the car in December and have fixed it and just been putting miles on it. It had a HORRIBLE tune as well as a oil leak when I picked it up from Arkansas.

So my plan for the winter is 275s (currently 245s) N20 150shot. Some interior mods, rebuild motor.

Ya I have the factory intake, but funny you ask I just posted a thread on the GTO forum and they all said I would be lucky to get 20hp out of a Fast intake. So my plan was just to maybe find a Vararam intake and port and polish the factory TB. I just want to be in the mid to high 500rwhp, so I can run with Z06s, Vipers, etc....

GET THAT THING TUNED! Lidio at Alternative is where I would take mine if I was to do it over again.

Unless im mistaking you do still have the ls1 intake right. You know those came on the 04cars. The ls6 intake comes standard on the 05-06 Gto. I didnt see you mention anything about a ls6 intake in your mods so im assuming you still have the ls1. You will see more than 20hp with a FAST intake with head and cam car over a ls1 intake if thats what you have.

Check this link out. read it. http://www.ls1howto.com/index.php?article=5

They did a test from on a cam only bolt on car NO heads with a ls1 intake then switched to ls6 intake. The results were 24rwhp and 14rwtq gain just from switching to ls6 intake over ls1!
