Hi! My name's John and I live near Sedona Arizona. I've been lurking on the site for a few months now, mainly in the Conversions and Hybrids section. My ride is a 1998 Jeep TJ that's getting an L76 with 6L80E in a few months. Since I'm getting kind of old and have some disabilities I'll have to have most of the work done for me but I'm in the process of procuring the big parts now. So far I have a new L76 on a pallet and will take delivery on the 6L80E this Friday. All I'll need to pick up after that is a new Atlas transfer case and have Speartech build my wiring harness. Then a local shop pulls the engine (for free--I'm giving it to them) and I trailer the jeep to Phoenix to Crocker Offroad Performance where they'll do the build. Once things move along I'll post pics of the project in Conversions and Hybrids. But one must be patient! Lots of plans, not enough money...
