How's it goin' guys. I just picked up a 2001 Trans Am about a month ago. The car is a 6-speed, T-top, Maple Red Metallic car. It's got 88,000 miles. I've only done a few basic mods so far. De-screened the MAF, SLP lid, bellow, K&N drop in, and a LM1 catback. I can't even begin to tell you how pissed I was when the car would sound like it was knocking cold! Come to find out this piston slap thing is super common. I've had the pleasure of doing plugs and wires on it as well...BAND-AIDS! This sites got TONS of good info. Thanks everyone!
