Default New guy from Socal

Great site. Like what I've read so far. I've been building motors for 20 years but im starting on my first LS. Kinda curious to see what everyone thinks of the combo. First, the car is a 1968 Nova. All steel except hood. Back-halved with 31x13.50 slicks. Should weight around 2900lbs with me in it. 9" with 4.11's. TH-350 with 4000 stall (foot brake). The motor is a stock LS-2 6.0 short block with stock L-92 heads, 823 casting. Had the heads flowed (317 @ .600lift).The cam is a Comp 228 / 234 @.050 on a 114 LSA .622 .633 w/1.8 rocker (got cam for free). Heads will be milled to 60cc which will put me at 11.9 to 1. GMPP single plane intake with a 950HP Holley. I'm not used to using a cam with such little duration, but Ive seen this cam make real good power. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks
