el camino swap in North Carolina Just a quick introduction before I start pestering you for answers to my questions
My pride and joy, the first vehicle I ever owned has a new toy. I recently purchased a 5.3 out of a 2000 model 1500. I bought the engine, entire engine harness, the computer, maf, radiator, and a couple of other things for 400. A swap like this has been a dream of mine for a long time. The stock 305 is getting really tired and only has about 18-22 psi of oil pressure so its on the way out.
I have a lot of questions and I have been searching through the forums and found a few answers. I'm no newb to cars, I've only every modded fords, most recently an 84 GT Turbo mustang 2.3l turbo, and carbed chevy's though. I'm also an electrical engineering student so I hope to be able to contribute some also.
