i have been searching for typical information about 96 trans am/firebirds, i have not been able to find one central location for ta info. the mustang cobra has a faq page called terminator faqs. i was hoping to compile information similar to the termiator faqs page here on ls1tech.

SPECIFICALLY i would like to know how common the 96 blue TA with t-tops and ram air hood is?


maybe production numbers etc...
as well what are some common problems and easy fixes for interior panel issues ( rattle loose broken clips) i am a newbie and this is for newbies. any info or links would be appreciated but please note i have exhausted every search engine and gen4 forum i could find in a weeks worth of searching. this is just for a reliable base to help understand the the gen 4 and similar f-bodies. by the way please offer facts only. (anyone that has been to the terminator page will understand how handy that is.)

Search around a bit, and use the search feature up there^ There are plenty of FAQ's on here, and I can attest I was once (and still in some cases am) the guy who asks too quickly without searching. Check the interiors section under the Appearance and Detailing section, a lot of knowledgeable (IMO) guys tend to lurk there, and as long as you are patient, you can usually get a good response.

I also know of a chart showing all options, colors etc....like an Excel Spreadsheet looking deal around the site somewhere, I'll re-edit if neccesary with the link, unless someone else gets it.

thanks, but the idea is to concentrate as much information about gen 4 birds as possible, without getting into the tech stuff. (stuff we should be figuring out with a wrench, not a mouse) the background behind the gen 4 is a lot more than just the story of the previous birds, there are a lot of trivial facts, things that anyone interested in learning about their cars would like to know. which is why i referenced the cobra page. definitelydo appreciate the response and i am looking into your suggestions and i will bring what i find back to this thread.
