Default Just got an 02 SOM SS M6

Hey guys, I just picked up my 02 SS about a month ago and I love it. I have been on this site from the sec I got it. Best site on the internet. Anyways, it has 80,000 miles and the engine is stock except slp lid and a cat back. It came with the rims and to my suprise when I got home and got it in the air a Moser 12 bolt with 3.73 gears (which will be 4.10 soon enough). The body is a little rough but nothing the body shop can't fix. I didn't think I could go wrong for only paying $3500. Btw, can anyone tell what brand the rims are? I need to get center caps after I get them powdercoated. I have big plans for the car, but who doesn't. Any suggestion would be great.

as for the wheels, they almost look like fiske's but not sure. I love the color combo, hope you're keeping it that way

Yep, I am gonna keep the color combo as is. I finished my flat black berger panel last night. The only thing I would change would be putting a sunoco hood on it. I saw another som camaro on this sight with that hood and I fell in love.

Trust me, it is. I bought the car when it was not driveable due to someone not tightening the two top bolts in the rear end for the torque arm. The bottom ones were still in it so the rear end twisted the torque arm and the drive shaft was hitting the exhaust. I got it home to fix it and to my surprise I could count 12 bolts in the girdle. I was stoked. The seller didn't even know!! I also had the cover off and thats how I know its has 3.73s and an eaton locker.

those might b fisk rims, the reason jsmith replied as such as most Aftermarket rears have a solid sticker in the at the outer side of the axle, that would appear thru the center of the of a uncapped rim stating the brand..nice find btw!

I thought the same thing. I just ran out and took a pic. I know its leaking, Im gonna fix that this week or next when the 4.10s go in. I couldn't get under it any more but the girdle does say moser.

And the second pic is my homemade berger panel. Let me know what ya think.

Damn you got a steal! Those wheels do look similar to FM10's, maybe Forgelines or BOZE that go on a lot of 1st gens.
