Default New 2002 CETA convertible owner

I had a 1995 TA Vert that I sold a number of years ago. Had to supplement my daughters college education. have been saving since then for a Vette but Then I saw this sweet deal on a 2002 CETA. The wife liked it which is always a plus and as of 8/12/2011 it's now in my garage. In great shape, Automatic with all the options and only has 7500 miles.

This seems to be a great forum for info etc. Looking forward to being a member here.

Default Need to ask a question about the power steering

My 2002 CETA only has 7500 miles on it so I wouldn't think there should be any issues. However I've noticed that the powere steering takes a LOT more effort to turn the wheels than any other cars I have including an SUV. I have had a 1995 TA, 1972 Big Block vette, 1978 Vette and none needed as much effort to steer. Is there a chance I have an issue or is this common because of the low profile tires and the weight of the car?

heaviness is different to everyone but yes compared to my other friends and family's cars mine is tougher i mostly attribute it to the fact that our cars use a rack and pinion steering system rather than the traditional gear box which makes it harder to turn as long as its not whining its probably fine.
