Default New 2011 SS Owner

Just picked a new 2011 Inferno Orange SS. Look forward to hearing what initial mods work best for it.

suspension is a big one. 5th gen camaros have horrible understeer from the factory, look into some phfat swaybars for sure. and some springs that drop it a inch or so and give it a mean stance.

I tune is also a good idea for any drive by wire car, as well as a automatic one.

I also know a place that has a COMPLETE stainless steel exhaust kit that is awsome for these cars but he is not a vendor here so you would have to pm me for his info, he is probably going to try to be a member here soon though. but i can attest to his kits and there half price of anyone elses

Damn not bad! Makes 70 hp more than my 4th gen with pretty much the same mods. Those LS3's are beast.

Congrats to the OP on the 5th gen, looking forward to pics

Congrats! Headers are a great first mod on any LS based car. Check out Pedder's suspension, they make a ton of great stuff for the GTO and since the 5th Camaro's chassis is also made in the land down under you can't go wrong.
