New 02 SOM z28 in Delaware
Hey guys and gals,
I've lurked around the forums here for a while, and finally got my hands on an f-body, so I wanted to introduce myself formally. Just picked up a SOM 2002 Camaro z28, completely stock. Previous owner bought it new and used it as a weekend cruiser. Car doesn't even have 30,000 miles on it.
I'm sure I'll be chiming in as my build gets going
Have a good one everybody,
Andy

Not much before winter time. Just the usual new car detailing and maintenance checks before I cover it up at the end of November. I need to get some new tires before I run it through inspection here. Once the car's covered up I've got a shopping list to pick up before spring though: Kook's LTs, TD setup, Lid & Filter, FTRA, Porting the stock TB, 25% Underdrive Pulley, Programmer and Dyno Tune. Lol it's going to be a busy spring and summer.

Well when you pcs in the states they dont ship your vehicle cause you can drive it. Only if you go oversea's, but when we moved across the country we brought one car that was gas friendly. Havent wanted to spend the money yet to ship the TA. It'll be shipped sometime this winter or early spring though, can't go another year without it.

Just an update on the car. It got some new Eagle F1 GS-D3 street radials because the other tires were pretty much bald. I ran it at the drag strip in Cecil County, MD to get a baseline before I mod the car. Best time of the night was a 13.8@102.2.

Took care of the headlights today. I had treated them before with Meguiar's Plastix headlight compound and terry towels, and it helped a little, but they were still pretty sun faded. So today I stopped by autozone and picked up the 3M headlight restoration kit since I'd seen good results from it on other cars. After I got done with the kit, I wasn't all that impressed. The headlights weren't yellow anymore, but they were still cloudy. So I decided to take the leftover Plastix I had, and use the 3M buffer for my drill to apply it, and it cleared them up a lot better. Then I finished them off with Blue Magic sealer and this was the end result.
