im new on here. im doing a ls1 swap in my 69 camaro. i have a 2000 corvette ls1 and a 1994 4l60e. i got the tranny free from my bro but not the torque converter. he gave me an ls torque converter from his car as hes going with an aftermarket one. my question is, do i need the spacer/adapter to make this trans work? the bolt holes should be the right size from what i've read. thanks, Scott

I'm pretty sure you will. I needed one for my TH350, but then pulled the whole deal when I scored a T56

well, now ive heard the 94 4l60e is a bastard child (RPM Transmission)and will not work period. s/p says it will with some pin work? 12pin to 14 pin? and the spacer and a diff flexplate. tci says they think it will work may or may not need spacer but not a flexplate. jegs tech says just a diff flex plate. gotta love swap projects. anybody ever done this swap with the 94 4l60e? project on standby. thanks
