It's great to finally be on here! I got a 2001 ss bone stock about a year ago. The fith gear syncro was bad so I pulled it and had Texas drivetrain rebuild it and went ahead and made it a stage 2 tranny and bought a stage 3 clutch for it. Went to kennadale and ran a 8.50 but trashed the gears in the rear end! Quick fixed that just replaced them and about 4 months ago was experiencing some blowby so me and my buddies pulled the motor to find out cylinder 7 had a 1/2 inch hole in it and the block had a hairline crack in it. But that bieng said I can't wait to make some friends and find out what I should do to get back running I'm trying to find a 6.0 but everyone thinks there gold! I also have a local shop who have been using the new 6.2 and was wondering if I could go that route. My goal is to try for around 500 rwhp thanks guys for bieng here. I live in the Mansfield area
