Default new owner to fbodies

i bought a 2002 hardtop z28, has 122K on it, a few bolt on's. other then that stock. what should i do to freshin it up. it needs a new paint job. other then that it runs strong. just looking for opinion to keep it running

Welcome! Well if you post some pics of the paint to see how bad it is that will help. You could buff it.

it needs a new paint job period, got a great deal on the car, so i couldnt pass it up, it seems the previous owners enjoyed beating the **** out of the car. it needs a new suspension set up, and a radiator flush as well as a trany flush. should i seafoam the engine Ive heard pros and cons about it.

No that would be a good thing. Put half a can in your brake booster and the other half in a full tank of gas it will smoke but will most likely improve it.

no doubt about it i already love my Z, it just needs some good ol TLC to bring it back to life!

Sorry I didn't respond guys been working a lot. When I got the car the only bolt-ons it has is headman headers, magnaflow, and the slp lid. This summer I plan on getting new suspension, break pads and rotors, doing the free ram air mod, revmax 3600 stall, and b&m shift kit. Last november before I put it away I put the c5 replica rims on it along with a fresh set of 555 nittos

drive it until the motor blows, then drop in a 408 with forged internals
