Hello my name is Grant and I am from Appleton, wi. I am currently working on a 1951 truck that I am installing a 2004 gto ls1 engine and hoping to find a T56 trans.

Also I was wondering the engine I bought did not come with an intake and I am looking to get around 400rwhp. What would be best way to go about doing that? Fast 90 intake and a cam or could I pull 400 out of the stock cam?

this is me guessing but i would do a cam with a stock ls6 intake unless you have the extra spending money for a FAST.

Post some pics up i love 40-50 style trucks

Default Start to the 1951 project

Here are a few pictures of the truck when I got it. I will also upload some pictures of where I am at now and as I go. The first pictires I have show the work that needs to be complete. My plans are mustang II front end. LS1 with T56 trans and ford 9" rear end with 4 link bars. Feel free to ask questions and give some advise.

Thanks
Grant

Now for the power plant. This is a LS1 out of a 2004 GTO. This is an LS6 Block. Not real sure a whole lot about it. I am still in need of a T56 trans and bellhousing. So if anyone is selling a T56 please let me know. Also looking for a LS6 intake with injectors.
