will an old 350 sbc bolt up with a 2001 t56 from a corvette?

Default will an old 350 sbc bolt up with a 2001 t56 from a corvette?

I have a 350 sbc from a 1970 chevelle and I am wondering will a tremec 6 sp from a 2001 c5 z06 corvette transmission fit or work with it ... any comments , suggestions ?

I highly doubt it the transmissions on the C5s are different than say Fbody or GTO transmissions as far as I know

The transmission in the C5/C6 Corvette does not bolt to the engine in the vette, it is in the rear of vehicle bolted to the differential.

Wont work...and no LSx T56 will "bolt" to a 350 small block FYI. The LT1 F body tranny will if you use the bellhousing. To use an LS1 tranny on a small block, you need either an adapter plate and the LS1 bellhousing, or an adapter bellhousing. Only tranny's I know of that can be used with the adapters are one from either an F body or a GTO. Nothing else.
