Derbydude

Hello. My name is Dillion. I plan on driving demolition derby cars in the future. So i want to build a lsx engine. So i have alot of questions. First off if this is the wrong tread then move it. Most drivers in demolition derby use built 350 sbc. But I want to build a ls engine. I would diffidently want a carb conversion. I just don't know what engine would be the best. I've been hearing the ls1 are a good choice. I would like to find a ls1 out of a corvette. Or maybe a 6.0 l out of a truck would be better idk. So what do you guy think would be the best choice for demolition derby? Any help will be apparated. Thanks
