50s dragger

Hey been here for a little bit checking out the site. Best one that I've seen and searched alot of others.this is by far the best one out there. Anyway so I've got a 51 Chevy truck that I'm putting on a s10 chassis . I bought a 04 Chevy Tahoe with a 5.3 .ive got the engine and trans and the tac module out along with the gas pedal. My question is do I need the hose or whatever comes off the top of the gas pedal. It's a black hose that I took off. I couldn't figure out where it ran up to ,so I can take it off. Do I need it? Anything else I need? I have the harness and ECM
