Talking New guy from the Pacific North West

That is tossing around the idea of an LS in my 69 Dart. Been tossing around the idea of it for a while now. Thinking more about it now after seeing a thread on another forum I frequent by a fellow putting a LS into a Valiant. Was going to use a 572" Hemi with a cross ram and efi but it is just to much $$. Bought the intake on a whim, kind of regretting it now. Car has a cage, mini tubs, sub frame connectors and relocated springs. Rear is a 9" (Currie 9+) center section. Car is also setup for a 4l80e. But the boss (aka the wife Ernestina) and I have been talking about something a bit more driveable. Hoping to build enough power to run in the 10's (or quicker) on pump gas. Forced induction is fine, need to get some education on that front as well. I joined here to get some education on the LS platform. Iron vs. steel block, which heads are desirable, you know, just the general stuff to start with. Enough rambling.....for now....
