Default New Guy with Formula WS6

What's up guys. New in the LS world, ditched the slowstang I had for one after 10lbs of boost and methanol weren't enough to let the 2V even keep up with t/a's or bone stock 'vettes.

I'm posting this up here right before work, I'll add some pics of the car later. It's a 2000 Formula WS6 M6, and a work in progress! Anyway, I've been reading up in this forum for a while, and decided I ought to introduce myself!

Car was still bone stock when I got it a few months back. Now it has longtubes, full catless exhaust, airlid, and a tune for now, but a lot more to come.

I used to think my '10 WRX was fast, then my '01 Kennebell GT was faster than that, and this bolt on LS1 is faster than the GT was... imagine that

Welcome! So your KB 2 valve was slower than the bolt on T/A?? That really surprises me lol. I came from a full bolt on and cammed 2004 Mustang gt with a 125 shot just recently as well. I'd say my HCI SS is only a tad faster than my old stang on the juice

Thanks guys! This winter is project time. Heads/Cam, Fast, 12 bolt. I have some Black with Machined V Chrome Lip staggered 17x9.5 and 17x11 ZR1s for it now. I was going to throw a t rex cam in for the end of this year and never got around to it. Now I'm trying to decide to keep the cam or go with a new heads/cam package and sell it, since the trex doesn't play well with PTV clearances.

In terms of my other car, there are plenty of videos of it getting killed by a heads/cam auto t/a, and a completely stock down to the tune 2012 GS 'vette. This one still loses, but not by nearly as much.
