SO hello ls1tech. My grandfather has a 86 xj12 vander plas. Well the car has a whopping 27,000 original miles on it and doenst run  So talking with him we have decided to swap in an Ls series motor. Specifically the ls1. The plans are an mostly stock swap with a 4l60le. The hope is to keep all of the comforts of a jag, with the power and reliability of the LS1. I would lke to use the ls1 ecu/tcu with the ob2 port for tunability and oem feel

Welcome to the site. Good luck on your swap. Plenty of good information here on LS1tech to get you going.
