I picked up this 70 El camino, all it needed was a motor, I installed an 02 5.3L with a 4L60E.

That is a sweet looking ElCamino! I am planning on putting the 5.3 in my 70 Chevelle.

Do you mind if I ask a couple (or dozen) questions? How did you wire it? Did you use a aftermarket harness or mod a original? How did you get the computer reprogrammed? Please PM me with any details you would like to share.

you can ask any questions you want. I used the original harness, and rewired it my self. I went to this website and got all the info that I needed for the install,
