Default Hello everyone noob here fresh from the import scene

Hello everyone I'm glad to be here ... I am a noobie . Lol never owned a domestic car before until now .. I pick up a 2002 LS1 trans am which I am excited to start working on ... I was in the Honda import scene for about 13 years since before I had a license .. Had a lot of fun with them ... But I was curious to learn something new .. I'm an all around car guy I appreciate anything fast import or domestic and I hope to have a awesome experience playing with the so called big boys lol

Thanks guys I'm loving my new TA .. I'm already thinking about picking up another fbody . Lol just needed to know if anyone can point me in the right direction .. I need to find out were I can find any chassis differences between the v6 and ls1 models since the v6's are cheaper I figure it will make a good starting point for a drag car ... I wanna get a manual one cause I wanna go ls1 and a t56 or m6 transmission ... Any information will be greatly appreciated thanks once again

Welcome! Plenty of people have done ls1 swaps on v6 bodies, but IIRC a lot of times its cheaper and easier to just buy a cheap v8 from the start. Unless you get killer deals on parts.
