New 5.3 turbo owner Hey guys, I'm just buttoning up a turbo 5.3 build. My cars (turbo bucks) have always been powered by various buick turbo v6's, and this is my first foray into ls engines. And I must say, this platform is impressive. Truly an engineering triumph! Putting the 5.3 in my 84 regal race car, I'll put the build details in another post.

Welcome....I too am a newbie into the LS world can agree that it is really an engineering marvel. I have been lurking on here for a few weeks day and night gathering information and can not believe how stout these motors and setups are.
I am still tossing around the idea of an LQ4 motor (6.0) for my setup but the 5.3L is definitely got my attention due to the price and more than capable internals even in stock form.
