Hello, I've been lurking here for a number of years and finally decided to make the jump to actually becoming a member. For the last five years I've been stuck back in the 90's with my 96 LT1 Firebird, and I couldn't be any happier. The car has minor bolt ons such as long tubes, ory, Magnaflow catback with a e-cutout, almost the full catalog of UMI's rear suspension parts, Pro 5.0 shifter, and 9.5 in ZR1's up front with 11 in wide ZR1's in the back. I've been making the transition from light drag racing in the street class to more of a road racing/trackcross type of racing. I am currently planning on making the car more friendly to tuning but, I cannot decide what route to take. My options are convert the OBDII ecu to OBDI, swap in a OBDI ecu and knock sensor, convert to the LS1 ecu, and finally keep it OBDII and buy the super expensive cable and software.
