Default hello from Oregon.

Hello. I'm in the process of putting a 4.8 liter engine in my 67 cougar. Just got it on the stand. Has 208k on it, tearing down to check condition although it ran ok before it was pulled from the 99 Silverado. Would like to end up around 10.2 @ 135 mph. Slightly faster than my friend with turbo mustang. Currently my car has 9" rear with 3.89 gears bolted to a Yukon traction loc. I plan to run a powerglide with maybe a low gear set (1.82?). I also have a set of 3.25 gears for axle. Thinking about a gt45 turbo, larger injectors. Need input from more knowledgeable people for this goal. Also will install larger cam. Don't know what the max lift is for 4.8 with stock pistons. Planning on 3200-3500 stall convertor(billet). Not a daily driver, just a fun car. Thank you.
