New LS1 owner from North Georgia I was referred to this site by some other LS owners I met at a local cruise in near Chattanooga. I recently bought a 98 model Z-28 Camaro to use as a donor car for a LS swap into my 1989 IROC. Hopefully I'll have the swap finished this winter.
My plans for the engine and tranny are...
Stage 2.5 LS6 heads from Texas Speed
Torquer V2 Cam
New rings, bearings and gaskets in the shortblock
ARP rod bolts
Stainless Hawks LS1 swap headers
LS6 intake, already have at the house
Z06 Mass air sensor, already have it
QTP electric cut out
Magnaflow catback, already on IROC
Stall converter... not sure what kind or size to get???
Going to run the stock IROC-Z 9 bolt rear end but will switch to 3.70 gears.
There seems to be tons of good information on this site so I look forward to reading and learning more about these cars.

I posted a pic of the 98. For some reason my work computer is being extremely slow... so I'll post more pics of it and the IROC later.
