My name is Dave, and I like to party. Hello all! My name is Dave I am from Utah. I recently acquired a 1981 Chevy C10 with (what I was told) is a 86 LS1 out of a corvette (?) Any way. It is a clean motor that is almost brand new. Its only got 20K on the ticker and I have seen a lot of paper work to verify the performance shop who installed it and all that jazz. I have always been into the rock crawler and 4x4 worlds and them 'Rice Rockets'. I am very excited to start down the ol 'merican muscle road. You will see me here creepin' and asking really obvious noob questions. Thanks for the read and have a great day

Hi Dave, and welcome aboard! The LS1 engine didn't come out until 1997 in the Corvettes and 1998 in the F-bodies, so hopefully you have a newer engine than you thought.
