Hello all
New to this site but not to GM engines
I worked at a a Chevy dealer for a couple of years on trucks
I have owned my 71 Chevelle for about 25 years and did everything to it
I have been restoring it for about 5 years and wanted to do something different with the powerplant. Searched the interweb and found a 1998
firebird formula LS1 with a five speed that was a hurricane Sandy insurance write off. I never did find anything wrong with the car other than some salt discoloration on bare metal parts
I took out the drivetrain and PCM and parted out the car made about 3/4 quarters of my money back that way
I have founfd lots of good info here doing google searches so I thought I would join to learn more
Thanks for having me
