Hi, My name is Danny and my son and I are getting ready to put in a LSX build of a 461 cu.in. engine (LSX Tall Block) that has Dyno'd 775 HP and 659 LBS of torque in an old Race Car that I have owned since 1973, a 1955 Chevrolet 150 series (Cheap Body) 2 Dr. wagon. My son had the engine built at a Shop in south eastern Florida that goes by the name of, Total Engine Concepts. Once we feel comfortable we plan on putting around 400 HP of NOS, ending up with around 1200 HP approx. I'm from the old school of building the what I call the old style small block Chevy and the LSX build as me relearning some of the different features that the LS series engines has compared to the old style, so this site I believe will help me. Some of the information that is at this site or can help us get our car going. Thanks everyone for your input and hope we can have this car ready by mid summer or early Fall.
