Hey Guys, buddy of mine sent me in this direction to get all the info i need to start my 5.3L build..

Im looking to start fresh, and want to do things on my own, i really dont like taking my motor to shops and pay them an arm and a leg, when im pretty good with figuring it out for my self, plus my car club members are pretty good with answering my question too...lol well sometimes....i think they tired of answering my questionthats why them sent me here.lol..

So what i would like to do is, grab me a 5.3L low miles, remove the top end, replace it with a ls1 or ls6 intake manifold, headers, and holley fuel rails, and im guessing i can keep the injectors?

I want to go old school, 60-70 chevy short bed, with this 5.3L/700r trans...With the 700r trans, would i have to get non-electic throttle? im not sure...

I need a few item for my build..

I need all front accessories, im going with fbody set up camaro..
Water pump/balancer/power steering/belt tension/brackets etc etc.. Is there anyone that has extra parts lying around i can use?
