Default New here, looking for advice on 408 lq9 91 mustang build

How are you all doing? I just joined and am looking for some guidance on my lq9 408 stroker build.

I am putting the motor in a 91 lx, and planning on getting the aje k-member along with kooks 1 7/8 ls swap headers, new caster camber plates, coil over, a arms.

So far I had the lq9 bored 30 over, and have installed the rotating assembly, consisting of weisco 3cc forged dome pistons, 4 inch forged stroker eagle crank, scat 4340 h beam rods with arp 2000 bolts, arp main studs, clevite bearings.

The 2 dilemmas that I have right now are, 1) which heads to use and 2) fuel injected or carbed. I am on a budget, and this is just going to be a street car, something to get in trouble around town in.

With that being said, do you think I could get away with non-ported heads, maybe l92's, and would it be a bad idea to go carb? I would like to be well under a grand on the heads and cam.
