Default PCM/ ECM Module A U0100 error

I have a 2007 Chevy Captiva European version. It has 45k miles on it. Yesterday while I was driving, I notice the fuel gauge went from a quarter tank to 0 in a split second and a light in the shape of a van with a wrench in the middle came on. I was able to make it home but the car has sense refused to start. There is NO OFFICIAL GM service garage on my island and I have the only Captiva, the closest car to it is Chevy Equinox. One "car" tech using his computer said there was no code error listing and he think it is electrical. Two other "car tech" computer read PCM/ECM Error.....all of my fuse have been check and they all appear to be ok....Can Somebody, anybody PLEASE HELP!

Sorry to hear about your issue, but I'm not sure you'll find any help here. You may want to look for an Equinox or Captiva-specific forum. Best of luck!
