Default getting 400 rwhp on stock 02 Z28

hello group i just added an slp loudmouth exhaust to my stock 2002 Z28. i was wondering if i can convince my wife, can you get 400 rwhp. i would have about 5 grand to spend. i also love to know how to upgrade suspension and brakes etc. Any advice or ideas am all ears. I pick up this Z28 two weeks ago. i know its not cheap to do this but looking for ideas.

is it auto or manual ?

Air lid
Long tube 1 7/8 headers
y pipe
small cam and unported 243 heads or 799 heads should put you all over 400 rwhp if not more

400 hp with a cam and inexpensive heads will get you there. swapping to a bilstien shock will really help out the handling. What are your plans for the car. If you are doing track days you can just change pads and keep running stock white box rotors and it will stop you great. If you are going to swap to a 18 inch wheel that gives you a lot of alternatives to aftermarket brakes but expect to spend big bucks if you are going to do track days.
