New Guy I'm Jordan, 18 years old and I drive a pile of a 1985 Trans Am dubbed as the Third Gen Nightmare from the amount of things that go wrong. It currently has a mild 357SBC, but I have recently purchased an LQ4 to throw in. Haven't made too many decisions yet, but I plan on bumping up the compression a bit, a cam, and a carb. No power adders. I want to try to fool the import crowd around here that don't know any better to thinking it's just another junk SBC.
It has a 700R4 and a howling 9 bolt with 3:70 gears right now, but I'm hoping to throw in a T56 before too long.
Daily is a black 99 S10. 2.2 with a header, thrush muffler, no cat and an auto. Bought the truck for $150 from a seemingly homeless Mexican. Best trip was 27MPG with 91 octane over 300 miles doing 95 the whole way when I could.
