New Project heads/cam Hello my name is Rod and new to this page. I need some help w/ my 2000 SS Camaro recently the head gasket took a s**t since it needs to be replaced I want to do heads & cam. I can't afford to buy heads so I'm sending mine to get ported but I'm confused as to what cam to get, I don't want the biggest cam out there but I will like something better than my stock cam (is my daily driver) any help is appreciate it.

Welcome! My name is Rod and I own a 2000 SS as well...kind of ironic lol. We need some more information here like trans type, gear, other mods, how many miles driven daily, etc...

Is a 6 speed manual, SLP lid, ported TB, pacesetter long tubes, SLP exhaust, Y pipe w/ after market cats, centerforce clutch, rear end is stock. I drive the car 26 miles daily M-F
again I need to know which cam can go with my ported heads. Thanks
