Default I'm new. It's my first day. Pics included!

Hey everyone! My name is Thomas. I'm somewhat new to the Chevy platform so I'm here to learn. I just recently started a project and I need all the info I can get on the gen3 motor.

I just picked this gem up for an insanely low price from an old lady in Louisville Kentucky.

It's a ridiculously clean 1988 Mazda Rx7 GXL. Zero rust. 3rd owner. Chassis has 120k on it. The rotary hasn't been started since 2008.

I threw my buddies slicks on it for fun.

Now although everyone told me I should get the rotary going and turbo it, I picked this up instead.

It's the lm7? 5.3l out of an 03 Silverado with 862 heads.

Now I'm not going to get into total plans with the car/engine. I'm not trying to turn this into a build thread (although I'm sure it looks that way). I just wanted to give you guys a little info on what I've got going on and why I'm here. I'll be asking a lot of questions.

Welcome to the site! The car looks sick with that wheel and tire combo and should be a rocket. Just keep us in mind if you have any tech questions or need any parts. Just shoot us an email over at support@tickperformance.com or give us a call here at the shop - 336.719.0599
