Default New from Mid Mo.

I'm Mike from mid mo. currently working on a 64 Chevelle. I have recently purchased a 6.0 from a 03 Hummer for the power plant. I will have alot of questions with this build as far as intake change, wireing hareness, and trans. Mostly cosmetic changes to make a good driver. Not looking to increase hp, just looking to get some decent mileage as I plan to do some serious road trips/ car shows. May need help posting in the right forum.

welcome to the site. Look over in conversion & hybrid section for info, lots of chevelles been in works/done. Wiring info can find at LT1Swap.com. I know you"ll need to change oil pan. I believe the hummer pan is the same as GM"S Muscle car pan. It dont fit well and hangs lower than crossmember. Post some pics.

I'm still somewhat early in the drivetrain portion of this build. Still doing alot of body work on the Chevelle but trying to get my head around the power plant conversion. Haven't uploaded any recent pics of the 6.0 but have stripped the harness, pwr steering bkt., fan clutch, alt. Also been to LT1 swap and down loaded pin removal list but feel like I should wait untill I aquire the intake and trans that I want. As mentioned will be looking for advise on these in the coming months.

Not anything for the cars really, going to start looking for a trans and intake. Wanted to post that under my avatar, oops!
