I finally got a hinge pin, thanks to someone out there; now my lid opens and closes (carefully). My car is an automatic and I noticed after I bought the car that it has no low slot to shift the lever into. When I put the shift lever in drive, it starts out in low gear (I think). Shifting down from neutral it goes to:overdrive, drive, 2, there is no "1". Anybody ever heard of this or know anything about what might might going on. I called Chevy support and The guy i talked to didn't know anything. Cappy
