Hello New to the site! Hope to get some help and ideas to do an engine swap. Putting a 5.3 Truck engine into a 66 GTO. Does anybody know if the truck oil pan will work. my 2000 Silverado is the doner vehicle. so I plan on using the harness and transmission. any help and advise would be greatly appreciated!

oil pan will hang to low. it hangs lower than crossmember. Gm muscle car pan is a truck pan thats not as deep but its too low also. holley has the pan that works well. you can find out info over conversion area. Also LT1Swap.com has wiring info.
