Hello everyone, the name is Kody. I currently serve on active duty in the Army and am stationed at Fort Campbell. I have been interested in the LS community for years being raised by a lifelong mechanic and handyman with a severe prejudice towards Ford, GM was the only way to go. Now the funny part of that is the fact that my daily driver is a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 MegaCab with the 5.9 Cummins and I have a 2002 Miata play thing, hence my reason for joining up with the LS boards so I can get a broader knowledge base to not only assist but also guide me in the right direction for which motor will be the best for my future LS swap into my Miata. Recently, January 2015, I stuffed a turbo under the hood of the Miata in hopes that it would meet my needs for the speed that I was desiring, but you can only stretch the stock block so far with tuning and E85 and the factory bottom end is on its edge of limitations while still under the 300rwhp mark (judged by glorified butt dyno). I have attached some pictures of my little pocket rocket for your viewing pleasure, and hope to share a build thread with the community in the future when I go down the path of stuffing an LS in it's tiny little subframe.
