hey, new.. b_lt1
paper mechanic, minimum shop time..
just bought an 96 buick lt1 for my 92 g20 van.. v6 to v8
ill probably take this build in small steps i got both the van
and the new motor from salvage.. both looking good so far,
van'll get started on its v6 first but just want to put things right
and i know i'll need the extra power from the v8 later..
if i can build my motor on my bench at home i'll try, if advised,
otherwise i'll just set my mechanic on it with the right parts in place.
looking for pros and cons about current motor specs, iron heads, and what might be good to change to get this built proof for long freeway hauls/drives.
thx for help im sure to see in future, in meantime ill be reading around..
