Default New here, doing a 5.3 swap into my 1970 Jimmy

I have been on the forum reading and finally registered. What a tremendous source of information!

I have been in the process of modifying my 2001 Silverado harness and just started the engine on my test stand for the first time yesterday.
Not without issues, I had the cam sensor plug and the crank sensor plug reversed and had no spark. Also had no removed the tank purge solenoid and it swapped with the temp sensor. The code was saying it was colder than -31 degrees and since I am near Tampa FL I knew that was wrong! I unplugged the temp sensor and it still had -31 degrees, thats when I started looking around and noticed that some plugs are the same.
Well it's running now and I will drop it in the Jimmy sometime this week. The Jimmy has a 700R4 so I had deleted the wiring for that too.
